Fundraising is an essential activity for the success of our not- for-profit, co-op school. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each member to participate in fundraising. Each family is required to financially participate in at least two major fundraisers each year, which the school organizes – Fall and Spring. If members choose not to do the actual fundraising activity, they will be assessed a pre-determined fee to be donated to the school.
Examples of our past fundraisers include our Fall sale of greeting cards, cookbooks, PartyLite and Equal Exchange catalog items, and our SpringFest.
This year our Fall Fundraiser will run from October 31st through December 2nd. We will be fundraising from two companies (Fun Pasta and Trees for Change) and holding a family photo shoot. Remember, you must sell enough so that $125.00 profit goes to the school. Fun Pasta gives back 40% to WPNS. Trees for Change gives back 40% to WPNS. The Family Photo Shoot gives back 100% to WPNS.
All orders and money must be turned in by Friday, December 2nd by 2:00 p.m. Estimated delivery date is December 16th. Please make all checks payable to WPNS and write “Fall Fundraiser” on check as well.
