Cooperative Learning Center
We believe play is the best pathway for learning, and we encourage open
exploration in our safe and engaging environment. Learning to ride a bike,
building friendships, and digging in the garden are as important as learning the
ABCs. By participating in a cooperative atmosphere of respectful communication
and support, WPNS families develop a community that lasts a lifetime.
The mission of WPNS is to instill a deep love of learning in both our children and
their families. We aim to build a skill set for our children to confidently
navigate a diverse world. We structure our learning environment and curriculum to
recognize and appreciate the special qualities of each child.
Our parent participation model creates an environment where children learn confidently and parents develop tremendous support systems. Our families have the opportunity to truly be involved in their children’s education, to learn from our wonderful staff, and to develop supportive friendships that carry on for years. Both our children and adults build a network - a true family - that is invaluable long after preschool.
